Summary: This toolkit was written to help Save the
Children Denmark staff and partners to
improve their Child Rights Programming (CRP)
practices.

This toolkit was written to help Save the Children Denmark staff and
partners to become better at practising Child Rights Programming (CRP). It
applies the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child to
the programme or project planning systems in use by Save the Children
Denmark.

The kit prescribes a five-step, rights based process for preparing a
programme or project:
· Mapping the child rights situation
· Choice of sub-programme or project themes
· Problem analysis
· Stakeholder mapping and analysis
· Strategy formulation
