Gibraltar [United Kingdom]

Located on the southern tip of the Iberian peninsula, Gibraltar is a British overseas territory that is governed by a royally appointed Governor and a locally elected parliament. Despite being ceded to Britain by Spain in 1713, the sovereignty of Gibraltar continues to be a point of contention between the two nations.
