Summary: The school systems of developed
countries face increasing pressure to
raise standards. Small wonder then that
the education of pupils with
disabilities is not at the top of every
educator's list of priorities. The
purpose of this document is to set out
the key principles governing the
education of children and young people
with disabilities.
