Child Participation (Roots Series)

Summary: The new 55 page manual on ‘child participation’ is number 7 in the Roots series published by Tear Fund. True to the style of other publications in the series, the book is
brief, precise and easy to use.

As projects move towards greater involvement of children in the development process, respecting the right of children to be ‘consulted’ on issues that affect them, it is imperative that they understand more fully how to get children to participate actively in all aspects of the project cycle. Here, then, is a manual that not only details and outlines what is involved, but also provides some valuable information on other resources that can be consulted to move organizations forward in their efforts to mobilize child participation.
