In addition, the NGO Group for the CRC has published reports of the individual reviews in the Session. To read the Committee's Concluding Observations and the NGO Group's Summary Reports, click on the links below.
Convention on the Rights of the Child
Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict (OPAC)
Optional Protocol on sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography (OPSC)
New CRC State reporting guidelines
New reporting guidelines for States were adopted on October 1st 2010 to replace those adopted by the Committee on 3 June 2005 (CRC/C/58/Rev.1). These treaty specific guidelines were developed in accordance with the harmonized reporting guidelines for all human rights treaty bodies and should be applied in conjunction with the preparation and submission of a common core document.
This will have implications on the way NGOs report to the CRC in the future. For further information, contact the NGO Group for the CRC

CRC Elections 2010
In December 2010, UN Member States will gather at the UN General Assembly in New York to elect nine people to the most important children's rights organisation in the world: the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. Those selected will replace outgoing members of the 18-strong Committee whose terms expire on 28 February 2011.
CRIN and the NGO Group have joined forces to interview candidates standing for election to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in December 2010.
