Voices Across the Mekong:Community action against trafficking of Women and Children

Summary: This report has been produced in support of the ILO Mekong Sub-Regional Project to Combat Trafficking in Children and Women (TICW) which was established in selected communities in Cambodia, China (Yunnan), Lao PDR, Thailand, and Viet Nam in 2000.
The following accounts are the views and stories of children and women, and the communities to which they belong, who explain their engagement in a program designed to help prevent trafficking for sexual and labour exploitation.
