Summary: The 13th Session of the Universal Periodic Review took place from 21 May to 4 June this year. Read the summary reports for each of the fourteen State reviews, as well as CRIN's children's rights extract reports.

The 2nd cycle of the UPR began in Geneva on 21 May with the UPR's 13th session. Fourteen States were reviewed for the second time under the mechanism and questioned on the progress they had made since their initial reviews.

Coverage of the reviews

International Service for Human Rights (ISHR) have produced summary reports for each of the fourteen States examined. The reports include persistent points raised in the UPR working group and recommendations issued to the States under Review.

CRIN's reports include children's rights extracts taken from the pre-review reports submitted by States (National Report), UN bodies (UN Compilation) and NGOs / National Human Rights Institutions (Stakeholder Compilation). Extracts from the recommendations will follow in due course.
