The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ has released its 2010 Annual Report entitled, Attacks on the Press in 2010: A Worldwide Survey, which determines that international institutions such as those within the United Nations have failed to protect press freedom in the past year.
The report provides more than 50 country and regional analyses on press freedom violations in 2010. This edition also includes a special feature on the invisible nature of online attacks meant to curb journalists, such as online surveillance and malicious software.
