how NGOs can participate in the
process of developing National Plans
of Action (NPAs) in follow-up to the
UN Special Session on Children. The briefing provides practical advice on how to:

· find out about governments’ previous plans of action;
· build networks with other NGOs;
· approach governments to get involved in preparation of their
NPAs; and,
· involve children and young people.
