Summary: The UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Violence against Children submits her annual report to the Human Rights Council.

The report reviews key developments and initiatives promoted, and identifies priority areas to which the Special Representative will devote special attention to accelerate progress in children's protection from all forms of violence.

Presentation of report

The Special Representative will present the report during the 19th session of the Human Rights Council and chair an interactive discussion with States, UN bodies and NGOs.
