BURKINA FASO: Child Labour Migration From Rural Areas

Summary: In April 2002 Terre des Hommes
conducted a rural household survey
aiming to identify the magnitude and
the determinants of child trafficking
from Burkina Faso. The study
focuses on rural children between 6-
17 years old who have left the
household to find work in urban
areas or abroad, something that is
operationally defined as "child labor
migration".
