Society for Children and Youth of British Columbia

The Society for Children and Youth of British Colombia is a non-
government, advocacy organisation.
The sole purpose of SCY is to advocate for the well being of
children and youth in British Columbia. 

Primary areas of work: Their advocacy takes many forms including research, public education, policy analysis and development, training, creation and implementation of programs, and preparation of resource materials.

It is a toolkit aimed at making communities more livable for children, youth, and families. The website is organized around18 domains, including diverse areas such as Play in the Built Environment, Housing, School, Transportation, Justice Services, Health and ECE, amongst others. Each domain has a brief overview of how it relates to child and youth friendliness and rights, a list of the relevant articles of the UNCRC, a list of resources, and a printable evaluation tool with child and youth friendliness features.
