HEALTH: UN call for information on child mortality and morbidity

The 2013 Human Rights Council's annual day on the rights of the child concerned the right to health. In the resolution (24/11) passed in connection with the annual day, the Council requested the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), to produce technical guidance on preventable mortality and morbidity of children under five years old as a human rights concern.

The OHCHR is seeking information from civil society to help it produce the guidance. The deadline is 7 February. More information on what exactly the OHCHR is looking for and how to submit information can be found in this letter from OHCHR.
