CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Good practises in protection of freedom of assembly and association

Summary: The Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association invites civil society to complete a questionnaire highlighting good practice.

The Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association, Mr Maina Kiai, is requesting Member States, national human rights institutions, non-governmental organizations and regional human rights mechanisms to submit information on good practices that promote and protect the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association.
 
Mr Kiai will then annex contributions to his report for illustrative purposes. The report will be submitted to the Human Rights Council for consideration at its 20th session.
