Alternative Report on the OPSC in Sierra Leone

Summary: This report provides supplementary information on Sierra Leone’s initial report on the implementation of the OPSC. It notes efforts to develop policies and coordinate the implementation of activities to protect children from trafficking, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation and pornography. However, many children are at risk of trafficking and sexual violence, and there is a big knowledge gap on the OPSC. The report also provides recommendations to conduct studies to update knowledge base on issues related to child protection, the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.pdf: http://www.crin.org/docs/Sierra Leone_CRCSL_OPSC_NGO_Report.doc
