Summary: This report provides supplementary information on Sierra Leone’s initial report on the implementation of the OPAC. It notes the new legislation to raise the age of recruitment by the armed forces and paramilitary to 18 years of age. However, it also highlights the lack of clarity surrounding non-state armed groups and the penal procedures related to violations of an act.
