Australia's National Inquiry into the Commercial Sexual Exploitation
of Children and Young People in Australia

This report was written as a result of the analysis of survey data
gathered by ECPAT Australia between October and December 1997. It
explores the nature and extent of young people involved in commercial
sexual activities, examines risk factors which predispose, young
people to participation in commecial sexual abuse and explores the
dangers and difficultie associated with commercial sexual activities.
It also offers strategies and recommendations to organisations and
goverments to best address the identified needs of these young people
