This part of the website is specifically focused on making
information regarding the Special Session accessible to youth and
children. It describes what the Special Session is, a little history
(the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child 1989, the World
Summit on Children 1990) and the purpose of the Special
Session. It also outlines Canada's priority themes, as well as
indicating how youth and children can participate in the process.
Finally, it provides a list of useful links to other websites
regarding the Special Session.
