Reports of sexual exploitation of chidren in developing countries
are on the increase. Using case studies , this working paper
shows that factors that enhance the potential for the sexual
exploitation of children are the ease and freedom of travel,
facilitated by modern tourism, combined with an open sex
industry catering for foreign tourist.
