UN: Know your rights campaign

On 10 December 2008 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights will turn 60.

To mark this occasion the United Nations has launched a year-long campaign leading up to this event.

The main focus of the campaign has been the launch of the website www.knowyourrights2008.org

The aim of the homepage is to be a marketplace of ideas, a place to share projects and initiatives to promote awareness of the Universal Declaration.

The UN wants to fill their “Wall of Events” with projects from around the world that in one way or another are connected to the articles of the Declaration.

Projects of all kinds, big and small are welcome. To add your event, visit this link: http://www.knowyourrights2008.org/index.php?nav=campaign
