Summary: This major report provides a consolidated national analysis of trends in development in Tanzania.
Part I presents an analysis of the most recent data for the national set of indicators.
Part II gives an overview of the findings from a public perception survey ‘Views of the People’. These findings present aspects of people’s economic progress, their standard of living, quality of and access to economic and social services, as well as people’s opinions on trends in governance and accountability.
Part III concentrates on growth, which is the overall theme of this report.
