Summary: This report summarises the status of children's rights in Sweden vis-a-vis European human rights mechanisms. Search CRIN's ratifications table to find regional instruments to which Sweden is a party. European Court of Human Rights Sweden is a member of the Council of Europe and subject to the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights, which issues decisions that are binding on all Council of Europe members. The Court maintains a searchable database of its case law (http://hudoc.echr.coe.int/sites/eng/Pages/search.aspx#), and the Council of Europe's Theseus project also offers a database containing Court case law relevant to children's rights (http://www.coe.int/t/dg3/children/WCD/simpleSearch_en.asp).
