Even though there is an awareness of sexual exploitation of children by tourists in places such as the south Indian beach resort of Goa and Negombo in Sri Lanka, few studies have been conducted on the prostitution of boys and their local exploiters in South Asia. This study focused on determining the existence and studying the nature of the prostitution of boys in Hyderabad, India.
