"An increasing number of children in the UK live with a parent
who is HIV-infected or who has AIDS. Also , an increasing number
of children and young people have been orphaned by the death
of one or both parents from an HIV/AIDS related illness

No time to waste is the first attempt to estimate the numbers of
children affected by HIV/AIDS in the UK and to look at their
particular needs, it focuses on four key areas.

The number of children affected by HIV
The circumstances of children affected by HIV
The needs of children affected by HIV and current provision for
meeting those needs
Recommendations for developing appropriate services
