Children's Ombudsperson

The Constitutional Review Commission produced a draft constitutional amendment on the introduction of an Ombudsperson in February 2007 and as of May 2013, the Ombudsman Bill was awaiting introduction to the national Parliament. CRIN is not aware of any plans to introduce an Ombudsperson with a specific mandate to address children's rights.
