LATIN AMERICA: The Worst Forms of Child Labour in Latin America - Identification and Policy Options

This report presents the main findings from 3 country reports: Guatemala, Bolivia and Peru. Research indicates that most NGOs work with children who perform light activities, only a few hours a day, and actually tolerated under ILO convention 182. This relative absence of action is paralleled by a lack of information. Vast sectors are structurally overlooked and understudied. Qualitative material is very poor, excluding the perspectives of the child labourers and their parents.
