Children's Ombudsperson
An Ombudsperson was established in Kyrgyzstan by the the Law On the Ombudsman of 2002. The Office includes a Child Protection Division, although the Committee on the Rights of the Child has yet to examine the institution to establish its compatibility with the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
