In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina wreaked havoc along the U.S. Gulf Coast. The brunt of the storm fell hardest on the region's poorest  and neediest children and adults. A
year later, Save the Children remains committed to supporting the unique needs of this region's children as they struggle to rebuild their lives and regain hope for the future.
