HIV AND AIDS: Good Practice Guide - Greater involvement of people living with HIV

The Good practice guide Greater involvement of people living with HIV has been produced by the Alliance and the Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+). It is one in a series of good practice guides produced by the Alliance. This series brings together expertise from the global community-level HIV programming to define and guide good practice in a range of technical areas.

The GIPA (Greater involvement of people living with HIV) Good Practice Guide contains information, strategies and resources to support programme officers in enabling meaningful involvement of people living with HIV in new and existing HIV programmes.

While the guide is focused on the programme level, it may also be useful for enhancing the involvement of people living with HIV in policy processes and research, and can be applied to many different contexts. The guide is also relevant to programme officers working on other global health issues, particularly tuberculosis.
