Summary: Education is important, but what kind of
education? What is education? What is a good
school? This booklet aims to stimulate public
discussion on these questions and contribute
to strengthen Tanzania's Primary Education
Development Plan (PEDP). It is not meant to
criticise teachers or education officials but
rather to explore ways in which education can
be improved.
