Getting it Right? - The State of Children's Rights in Northern Ireland at the end of the 20th Century.

Summary: This report is an evaluation of the UK
Government's implementation of the
United Nations Convention on the Rights
of the Child in Northern Ireland 1994-
1999.
Introduction and Background to the Report

1.5 WHO IS THIS REPORT FOR?

This report is primarily targetted at workers and volunteers in
voluntary and community sector organisations in Northern Ireland.
Other people involved in children's and young people's lives such as
social workers, youth workers, Education Welfare Officers, teachers
and parents, will also find this document of use.

It is not a legal document, although legislation is referred to and
explained. Neither is it intended to be used by young people. The
Children's Law Centre and SCF recognises that sharing the findings
with young people requires a more accessible mechanism. Multi-lingual
summaries of this report are available for both young people and
adults.
