The What The Girls Say report puts the spotlight on girl child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and reveals the reintegration challenges many face when they return to their communities.
Girl soldiers in DRC often suffer family rejection and stigmatisation when they go home and Child Soldiers International authored this report to help bring about changes in reintegration practices and give a voice to these girls. The report comes with a Practical Guidebook on girls’ reintegration in collaboration with the UN, the government and NGOs in DRC, also available on this page.
