This submission was made in November 2017 to provide comments on the draft general comment of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on equality and non-discrimination. It focuses on the sections of the general comment that address the rights of children with disabilities and the situation of children in humanitarian emergencies. The submission also addressess the institutionalisation of children and immigration detention.
