A group of pedagogy students from Berlin and the association "Eltern für Integration" / Parents for Integration Berlin (EfI), are trying to collect worldwide definitions of "Inclusion" and "inclusive education". The point of departure is the German working translation of the UN-Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. In this paper, the central term "Inclusion" was translated as "Integration". From the students perspective, this translation is incorrect. Through this contest they firstly would like to indicate what Inclusion means worldwide. And secondly they intend to clarify the social relevance of this concept. They are therefore looking for definitions used in scientific discussion and definitions people formulate for themselves. In this context, they are interested in the differences just as much as in similarites in the internationally used definitions. They also want to discover how clearly the idea and term of "Inclusion" is delineated compared to concepts and terms like "Integration" or "Mainstreaming".
