Summary: This report provides supplementary information on Sweden’s fourth periodic report on the implementation of the CRC. Written by the Children’s Rights Convention Network, it is primarily based on questions that children and young people asked ministers during hearings in 2004-2006. The report discusses key problem areas raised by children, previous recommendations from the Committee that the government has not fully carried out, and comments on Sweden’s fourth report. Special attention is paid to hidden children, alternative care, and children with disabilities.
