This submission aims to contribute information on rights violations affecting children in street situations which have yet to be comprehensively addressed in child rights advocacy. These include status offences, access to harm reduction for drug use, the right to work, and access to justice. We urge the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child to specifically address these issues in its General Comment on children in street situations.
