Summary: This study has tried to document
beliefs and practices about child
rearing in a number of distinct
communities in Nepal, with special
focus on meaningful dialogue with
parents and other caregivers about
how to best build a positive future
for their children.
There is a Participatory Research Handbook that also can be used
with this publication. The handbook is designed for organizations
or agencies wanting to establish early childhood programming
that is responsive to the realities of specific communities.
