ANDORRA: Children's rights and the European human rights system

Belgium is a member of the Council of Europe and subject to the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights, which issues decisions that are binding on all Council of Europe members. The Court maintains a searchable database of its case law, and the Council of Europe's Theseus project also offers a database containing Court case law relevant to children's rights.

One case concerning children's rights in Andorra has been brought before the European Court of Human Rights. This dealt with the status of adopted children.
