These Programmes go out on cable three
times a day. Anyone aged between 11-19
can join and gain training in all
aspects of television production.

We offer daily workshops. As a member
you will move up through the level
system making Programmes for our
transmission.

Ultimately you can get the chance to
make Programmes for digital TV channels
and get valuable work placement within
the media industry.

Training at YCTV involves working on
productions.

From the moment you become a member you
will receive training support at
whatever level you are from our staff.

All training is by practical
experience, with NO lectures or essays.
When you join you will do a brief
induction course, where you will meet
staff and make a TV programme.

After this you will become a level 1
member, rising to level 3 as you gain
experience and knowledge. This can be
done at your own individual pace. Once
at level 3, you will have the necessary
experience to go for a job in the media
industry. Whether you are interested in
learning technical, creative or
performing skills, we can offer
training to suit your needs and
desires.
