Women and Children First

Women and Children First aims to ensure equal rights to all children, comprehensive development, and complete participation in society.

WCF programs reach orphans and at-risk youth in nine regions of Russia. Activities include:
- Training for institution staff,
- Life skills training,
- Rights education for children based on the UN Convention for the Rights of the Child,
- Prevention and participation programs for children,
- Post-institution support,
- Early intervention support for families at-risk of child abandonment
- Lobbying federal and city departments in Moscow for changes to legislation concerning child welfare and rights.
