Collective will of UK based development NGOs,
academic institutions, government agencies
and political and civil society actors to work
together to understand and mitigate the
impact of AIDS in developing countries. It
provides opportunities for the many diverse
concerns and interests to come together to
discuss issues raised by the impact of the
AIDS epidemic.The core functions of the Consortium are
funded by membership contributions and this
means that it can maintain an independent
voice that genuinely reflects the concerns of
NGOs working in the field.
