Endeavor for improvement in the conventional education system as this continues to affect the lives and learning of the overwhelming majority of the children of Pakistan.

• Assess as accurately as possible the shortcomings in the education system so as to work on and recommend appropriate remedies
• Review the curriculum and promote texts that are reachable, interesting and supportive of the development of a tolerant and free-thinking world-view
• Contribute with teachers modern and effective approaches towards teaching and to sensitize them to techniques to which children have been found to be more receptive to
• Lend a hand with institution building in the field of education so as to encourage innovation, enhance the pool of trained teachers, promote among administrators better management techniques and a democratic culture so as to broad-base the movement for educational reform.
• Conduct surveys, assessments, evaluations and studies to measure the impact of educational policies and programmes
• Conduct research on education-related issues and strive to place the situation on the ground in an analytical framework
• Evaluate model institutions with a view to disseminate best practices and determine reliability
• Provide a forum for discussion and advocacy in the course of an on-going dialogue with the key stakeholders
