The organisation’s AIMS are: ·Accomplish activity in public interest by providing protection and specialized care in the established and managed by the Association SOS-Children’s Villages and SOS-Youth Facilities for upbringing and education of orphaned and abandoned children or children from broken families, as well as of youths, which need support with the aim to reach their personal realization and social integration. ·Provide emergency aid for children and mothers in need at the time of/or after natural disasters or other calamities. ·Provide counselling and help to children, to youths and to young mothers in order to enable them to have a life in secure and sound relationships. ·Provide vocational training and education for the children from the system of SOS-Children’s Villages, corresponding to their individual needs and potentials. ·Provide medium-term and long-term financial stability for the Association. ·Serve as an example of practical model for similar organisations working in the areas of child development, social pedagogy, education and working with representatives of various ethnic groups
