Save the Children Romania aims to
promote and defend children's rights
by : informing and making
government bodies and the public
aware of children's problems in
Romania, initiating proposals to
reform legislation to improve the
system of social protection of the
child and carrying out the
programmes directly concerning
children. SCR's basic tool is the UN Convention
on the Rights of the Child
Primary areas of work: RSC focuses
on children from institutions, street
children. abused children, working
children, children with special needs,
children with HIV/AIDS, refugees,
and gifted children. They have
developed an Education Programme
on CRC in Schools and homes for
children and also provide education
for health and parents education
programmes.
