Save the Children - Lithuania

Save the Children Lithuania is non-governmental, non-religious and non-political organization whose primary function is to advocate for child’s rights and promote proper implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Organization is seeking to ensure proper implementation of child’s rights through development and implementation of long term projects for children and families, advocacy, policy development and influencing opinion of society.

Five programmatic areas, Save the Children Lithuania currently is working in:

I. Reduction of Violence against Children and Child Abuse

II. Reduction of Children Social Neglect and Institualization

III. Child’s Rights Governance

IV. International Programs

V. Strengthening of organization’s capacity and financial stability.
