Root Work Foundation's mission is to "work for the development and empowerment of marginalized groups of women, children and youth of Pakistan.” Its objectives are:
1. Work for the gender mainstreaming and overall socio-economic empowerment of women.
2. Work for reducing risks of natural and man-made disasters and create sustainable livelihood opportunities.
3. Wok for the promotion of primary education opportunities (particularly for girls) and improving relevant mechanisms.
4. Create opportunities and facilitate communities for developing and improving their basic physical infrastructures.
5. Create opportunities and spaces for the development and empowerment of children and youth.
6. Facilitate the process of good governance and build the capacity of civil society actors.
