Revolution- An Essence for Freedom is a registered not-for-profit development organisation, working for the promotion of rural education in primary and secondary schools to the marginalised children in the district of Birbhum. We undertook a project named ‘Education for All’ for this district. Revolution-an Essence for Freedom believes that “RIGHT TO EDUCATION” & to rural schools is the primary right of a child. The organisation also believes that education plays a crucial role in reducing poverty and inequality, improving child and maternal health and strengthening democracy. In their endeavor the organisation works very closely with the National and Local Government, the school authorities & many other stakeholders of the Civil Society with an aim to ‘INSTITUTIONALIZE’ the initiative in time to come. The organisation has also partnered with the Planning Commission of India, Government of India to overcome the hurdles in future. We are hoping to create a new dimension towards the rural children.
