At present, the Network comprises 147 member organizations that provide services to children who are Laborers, Disabled, Street Kids, Orphaned, Abused/Prostituted. Child Network is concerned with the Protection of Child Rights, and children living under absolute poverty in the community. Strategically the Network favours prevention as its intervention basis.

 Child Network projects are aimed at:

Ø Developing cooperation and coordination between the organizations operating on Child in need issues.

Ø Preparation and implementation of a long term strategy between the NGO’s/Government to streamline and improve the intervention being delivered to the Child, especially on:
o    Street intervention
o    HIV/AIDS and Drugs
o    Prevention (community-based program)
o    Family Reintegration Approaches.
o    Training
o    Partnership.

Ø   Conduct joint Advocacy campaigns to raise awareness on Child in need rights and requirements.
