Play Scotland is a national body
promoting the importance of play for
every child. They aim to increase
understanding about the value of
play across all levels and campaign
to ensure that all children are able to
play.Play Scotland provides a central
information and resource base for
play workers and play organisations
in Scotland, and others involved in
aspects of play such as local and
national government, voluntary
sector and private companies.
Play Scotland meets the needs of
play workers and others through
three key areas information training
and research.
Primary areas of work: Play and
playwork. Not directly with children
but with organisations working with
them.
