To contribute effectively and efficiently to sustainable improvements of the living standards of the people of Malawi especially children and women through self help projects based on their priorities, needs and capabilities and other activities aiming directly at alleviation of poverty
To facilitate provision of quality basic education for every child especially orphans and vulnerable children in an effective and efficient manner.
Strategies:
1. Promotion of child-centred and gender sensitive teaching and learning methodology.
2. Creating a conducive teaching and learning environment.
3. Promotion of the OVCs and girl child education through economic support
4. Strengthening RBA and participatory training methodologies such as REFLECT
5. Early Childhood Stimulation
6. Build the capacity of the communities to enable them participate in policy formulation and implementation,
7. Strengthen the role of the school management,
8. Strengthening communities in advocacy and lobbying skills with a view of achieving policy changes in education
9. Facilitating vocational skills training for older in school and out of school orphans and vulnerable children based on individual needs assessment.
10. Supporting awareness initiatives through information, education and communication at all levels of the community.
